Temperature measurement is very simple and is done using infrared. Simply point the device's sensor at the surface to be measured. You can use the device as an ear or forehead thermometer. Switching between the two modes is done by removing or inserting the temperature measuring cap of the forehead. An ear or head sign appears on the LED display, showing which measurement you are currently using.
The thermometer is characterized by high reliability, high accuracy and a wide temperature range from 32.0°C to 43.0°C. If necessary, it is also very easy to convert the unit of measurement to Fahrenheit (measuring range 89.6°F - 109.4°F). You do this with a button on the side. If the measured temperature is out of range, the thermometer displays "Lo" (low) or "Hi" (high). With the "Err" (error) message, you can see if something went wrong during the measurement.
In addition to its highly accurate digital display of body temperature, this thermometer has a special tri-color backlight that highlights the temperature range. Below 37.5°C, the LCD lights green, between 37.5°C and 38°C, the screen turns orange to indicate the altitude, and when the temperature is above 38°C, the color code is red. When green, 1 long beep also sounds. If the screen turns orange or red, you will hear 3 short beeps. You can also turn off the beep.
In memory mode, the thermometer saves the last temperature readings. It can store a total of 32 readings.
